Interaction is key to learning. With this quote, Dhruvi Mehta of Class IX-D participated in the online AFS Insight Exchange, an Inter School group discussion hosted by Sunbeam Varuna School and Hostel, Varanasi. The event took place through Zoom conference on 22 & 23 May 2024. The event had one preliminary round followed by the final round. The motion deliberated in the prelims was: "Should both developed and underdeveloped countries have equal binding in combating climate change?" Team RKK qualified and secured a position among the top 12 schools appearing for the finals.
The format of the final round was as follows: 1 minute for introduction, 2 minutes for answering questions posed by the moderator, and a 2-minute conclusion summing up the entire discussion by each participant. The topic for the final was "Environment and Global Issues." The judge for the event was Mr. Sandeep Mukherjee. The event provided many perspectives and solutions for the emerging environmental global issues. Dhruvi Mehta did a splendid job and secured 1st position in the event.
