Pragnya Bodhini High School, Mumbai invited all the AFS member schools to be part of ‘Changemakers’ campaign from 17th to 24th December 2022. RKK’s participants were -
Aarushi Malu, Adwitiya Saxena, Avni Jain, Kimaya Parihar, Lavina Bhawnani, Mehu Sunil Verma, Nitya Parihar, Piya Salecha, Pari Salecha, Rashi Bafna, Saima Singh and Vanshika Bajaj with their Teacher Incharge - Ms Amba Singh Jhabua. This campaign or the global mind shift’s main goal or objective was to enable the young minds to understand the interdependent nature of this world. The task was to identify the challenges in your community, analyse the needs of the people in your community, brainstorm and ideate a plan, execute the plan, see, experience and measure the impact of the change you initiated. Also, the students were supposed to record and document as they were progressing with the above stages. On 17th December, the photos and videos of the students distributing sanitary napkins to the Baijis of school were taken. The topic chosen was –
‘Project Prayaas’, an initiative of RKK for the upliftment of the underprivileged women of Jodhpur. A skit was also performed by the students, which was captured very beautifully. The final compiled video was ready by 23rd December which involved a lot of editing too, aesthetically done by the students. The video majorly included five things – the initiative, who started it, the association of the initiative with our school and its contribution. This event enabled students to realize that we can survive and thrive as a species only by helping each other grow.
It was a proud moment to receive acknowledgement and appreciation for this activity, seriously and sincerely conducted by the students and incharge.
Result – Congratulations RKK for bagging
Special Mention to excel in its role of being – The Changemaker.
