Under the aegis of AFS, India, a
Virtual AFS Domestic Class Exchange Program was organized between Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School, Jodhpur and
Medi-Caps International School, Indore on the 18th December 2021 for Class IV & V. The day started with excitement in the air and zeal in the hearts of the students and teachers in-charge. The virtual exchange was planned to share the culture and traditions of the respective states and towns. Many esteemed members of AFS also became a part of this program to motivate the students and appreciate the efforts they had put in. The exchange started with the wonderful depiction and outstanding presentation given by the primary students of Medi-caps. They talked about the Tribal folks, their culture, mesmerizing flora and fauna and delicious delicacies of Madhya Pradesh. The presentation was exceptionally well-planned and executed. The primary students also performed the folk dance on the joyful folk music wearing gorgeous dresses. Their show ended with a thank you note delivered most innocently. The students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School presented the Rajasthani culture and tradition through a PowerPoint Presentation which included a folk dance performance by a student. Then, they gave a virtual tour of their school campus and discussed the events, activities and opportunities they avail in the school. The presentation and exchange ended with an aesthetic performance by a student. Respected Ma'am Divya Arora, National Director of AFS and Ms Manjula, Coordinator- AFS Sending & School Exchange, congratulated and appreciated both the schools for performing enthusiastically and putting in the efforts to make the exchange a success. It was a great learning and growing experience for the students and they enjoyed a lot.
Participants from Class IV were Anya Bhattar, Vaanya Mehta, Vaara Rajye Jodhpur and from Class V were Ahaana Arora, Sahaj Sankhla, Lubna, Darshamini Singh, Hitanshi Jain, Mishaa Chhajer, Myrah Singh, Nishika Pagaria, Shaambhavi Gulecha, Gaurav Singh Deora, Tanishtha Rajvi with their Teacher in-charges - Ms Aashna Jain, Ms Divya Sushma Dhan and Ms Amba Singh Jhabua.
