RKK truly believes in the adage that happiness resides neither in possession nor in gold , but happiness dwells in soul . RKK has endeavoured various community service initiative round the year to inculcate among the students true feeling of mercy , kindness , compassion and love for all those people who are deprived of privilege of the rich.
It was an effort to let children learn to think beyond I / ME / MYSELF and get wider perspective of life. The empathy undoubtedly lit the ray of happiness and satisfaction in the eyes of children .
Among the endeavours taken in the month of November include visit to Bal Basera,Gandhi Dumb and Deaf School, Apna Ghar Old Age Home and Missionary Of Charity. The simplest acts of kindness are by far more powerful than thousands heads bowing in prayer . You give your all and yet you always feel as if it cost you nothing . Following the trail of philanthropy, Interact Club of RKK which is sponsored by Rotary Club Padmini of Jodhpur left no stone unturned to nurture the motto ' SERVICE BEFORE SELF'. Various tasks undertaken on AFS NATIONAL DAY were performance of Nukad Natak to convey message and create awareness that Cleanliness is next to Godliness, awareness program on sanitation and hygiene , collection and distribution of stationary items to needy students and non-perishable items – Grocery - Cereals, Pulses, Rice, Wheat, Toiletries to different homes for not – so – fortunate.
As it says ' Charity begins at home ' and catering the need and importance of this, the students of RKK served meals to fourth class employees as a token of gratitude and thanks to toiling hands. Woollens and other utility items were also distributed to needy persons.
Celebrating AFS day has immensely increased social awareness and responsibility among students . It gave them a good feeling of having done something for others . After all Involve and Indulge was not just about Donation Drive but about spreading joy and happiness. We solemnly realize through this celebration community service is a way for a person to give back.
