KAKELAO SERVICE PROJECT

Living by the immortal words of wisdom and sowing the seeds of service and kindness, RKK undertook the 2nd AFS Service Project in Kakelao for 10 days from 31st July to 9th August 2015. Twenty RKKians participated very exuberantly and left an indelible mark in the hearts of people they met. They forged relationships built on the concept of Service. RKK collaborated with American Field Service and Yale Alumni Student Committee to transform students into individuals of outstanding character and ability. What began as a bunch of volunteers wanting to help and give back to the society ended up as one big family working tirelessly for bringing the smallest change they could in the village of Kakelao. This was a spiritual drive that left everyone with a sense of satisfaction. Kakelao not only gifted the students with  a bond for  lifetime, immense happiness, renewed spirits and greater fulfillment but a bag full of memories that would curve their lips into smile at every point of time.
