The Senior School Day was commemorated with a lot of zest and indomitable enterprise on
4th November 2023 at
Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur.‘The Illuminating Rhapsody’ as the name suggests, was a soul-stirring rendition displayed by the Senior School students of RKKGPS, Jodhpur. With an intricately woven plot, the students moved the audience to pensive reflection on the decadence of ‘Humanity’ and the smouldering discontent that ‘Mankind’ is entrapped in. Eloquent content, powerful oration, mesmerising enactments, enchanting music and graceful dances combined to convey the quintessential teachings of the Sufi Saints, the epitome of ‘Love’ and ‘Humanism’, in the most enthralling and compelling manner.
The highlights of the students’ achievements and the school’s progress were read out in the Annual Report by the Principal, Mrs. Neera Singh, with pride, before the programme commenced. Students with outstanding performances were also felicitated with Excellence Awards. The Head Girl, Nikita Vijayan extended profuse gratitude to all present with her ‘Vote of Thanks’.
The venerated
Chief Guest, Barkha Dutt, an enigmatic television journalist, was smitten with the fervour and camaraderie of the students. The revered Royal Family of Marwar, the dignified Board of Governors, acclaimed Guests of Honour and valued parents, added charm with their benign presence and left with a strong message, in adulation of the students.
