Self-defense, especially for girls , is of utmost importance in the kind of the world we live in today. Girls , usually referred as the weaker sex are considered easier targets. They should be aware of the strategies to be adopted under different adverse circumstances. Self-defense skills is all about defending oneself which prepares to fight rather than freeze.
In this context , girls of Class V to X were facilitated by Rajmata School to have an access to the proper self-defense techniques that can truly be valuable during confrontational circumstances . This endeavor has been ventured in association with ‘SAKSHAM’, a program initiated by the State Government from 15th to 23rd March 2016 to train the students for 7 days under the able guidance of Ms Veena Chouhan , an expert instructor appointed by the government.
