ART WORKSHOP AT MEHRANGARH FORT

A group of 26 students were escorted by Mr Yatheesh Kasargod to Mehrangarh Fort which displays rich and varied culture from villages depicted symbolic of the state. A workshop on Rajasthani, Pahari, Deccan and Mughal styles of painting was conducted at Mehrangarh where students learnt whole heartedly and immersed themselves in the traditional work environment. As a host of schools of miniature paintings thrive in Rajasthan, an awareness was raised in the students through this workshop which presented the complexities and subtleties of art forms and displayed the skills and techniques involved in creating these paintings.

An outdoor session was also scheduled which provided students a chance to observe, sketch, draw, paint and think vital elements required for art studies. Surrounding greenery provided them a perfect blend of retreat and focused learning.
