THOMAS MORE COLLEGE, SOUTH AFRICA (RS ZOOM POSTCARD)

On 18th October 2023, a team comprising six students - Ragini Sankhla, Charvi, Shailja Soni, Samrudhi Surana, Mahima, Purvi Jain with their Student Leader - Surbhi Udawat participated in RS Postcard Call on the theme, “Daring Optimism”.

The call was hosted by Thomas More College in South Africa from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm (IST). The call started with two presentations shown by the host school on optimism, which boosted the spirit of the participants. After that they were divided into breakout rooms in which questions such as , How do you stay optimistic in the face of repeated failures ? Do you consider yourself more of an optimistic or pessimistic thinker?were asked and discussed which were answered and handled confidently and actively by the RKKians . Overall it was a very interactive session where the students got an opportunity to share their views and to broaden their horizons. It ended on a fruitful note.
