SAN SILVESTRE SCHOOL, PERÚ (RS ZOOM POSTCARD)


The RS Zoom Postcard from San Silvestre School in Perú was held on 23rd August with its theme being ''The Importance of Indigenous Communities in Today's Society ". The meeting started with the brief introduction of the land of Perú including its constitution, political working, invasions ,culture ,language and about present day Perú by the host school. RKK’s participants were - Mayurakshi Nathawat, Tanvi Shah, Yuvika Jangid, Sanskriti Soni, Stuti Arya, Bhavya Bhadu with their Incharge - Suhani Lodha.

The  session broke out into various break out rooms where the schools from various countries played a game in which we were telling facts about our country and guessing which country are everyone from and discussed on  ideas of spreading awareness about Indigenous Communities and making people know more about it with the help of various social media platforms and movements that took place in Perú.

There after everyone again joined the main session where the host school played a game about the Indigenous Communities all over the world and their voice on how we feel about the Indigenous Communities.

It was an enriching experience knowing about the history and land of Perú.
