Rightly said "We don't have to engage in grand, heroic actions to participate in the process of change. Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world" as, when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.
We all know that language plays an important role in all round development of a student. Appropriate words with correct spelling convey right message. And learning a language is the foremost step in the life of a child as it helps her to communicate with the world and a school plays a vital role to train the child in this direction. Keeping this as a main motto an Inter House Spellathon Competition was conducted on 28 July 2023 to create awareness of the possibilities of using varied words in oral and written expression to add words to the active vocabulary of students. The competition was organised for classes VI to VIII and there were three participants from each House. There were five rounds like Unscramble words, Homophones, an audio round based on Power spelling and Wordle and visual based round on Idioms. Students participated earnestly in the competition and gave tough competition to each other.
The House wise positions in this neck-to-neck competition were as follows:
1st Position - Durga House
2nd Position - Shakti House
3rd Position - Bhawani House
4th Position - Ambika House
