7th June 2023, a 60 minute RS Zoom Postcard was hosted by Redlands,Australia on the theme 'One Ocean, One Climate, One future-together'.
RKK’s participants were - Sunehari Birla, Suhani Birla, Mayurakshi Nathawat, Iram Khan, Virika Mehta and Pari Salecha with Student Adult Incharge - Piya Salecha. It was a very informative event. It started with an engaging presentation from the host school, after which students were separated into breakout rooms. Listening to different people’s opinion about initiatives taken by different people from different areas was indeed a great experience . Later delegates were asked to present their views about a documentary 'Rubber Jellyfish'. Thereafter everyone was asked to talk about the solutions they think can be implemented to protect the oceans. Later on the host talked to the students about the measures that one should take to replace ballons which harm the marine life with eco friendly celebrations. With this the host gave a vote of thanks and ended the meeting with smile on their faces. It was a very educational and enriching event.
