Educational Visit to Air Force Station, Jodhpur
On May 5, 2023, Grade 4 students from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Gurls’ Public School had an opportunity to visit the Air Force Station as part of their educational program. The aim of the visit was to provide the students with insights into the Indian Air Force's role in National Defense and its operations. Accompanied by their class teachers, the students arrived at the Air Force Station, where they were warmly received by the Air Force personnel.
Excitement and enthusiasm filled the air as the students got a chance to observe various aircraft parked and pilots moving around. The Air Force personnel then ushered the students into a hall, where they received a comprehensive overview of the Indian Air Force's history and its functions through a short movie. The children were captivated by the presentation, listening intently to learn about the different types of aircraft in service and their roles.
After the presentation, the students embarked on a tour of the Museum, where they learned more about the Indian Air Force's rich history and its contributions to the nation. Next, they were taken to the Air Traffic Control Tower, where they were amazed to see how the Air Force personnel manage to keep track of all the aircraft in the sky.
As a gesture of hospitality, the Air Force personnel offered the students juice and chocolates, which delighted the children. The students were grateful for the personnel's efforts in making their visit enjoyable, and they learned a lot from their experiences.
The visit was a great success and left a profound impression on the students.
