ECOLOGIQUE (POETRY MAKING, MIME ACT & POSTER MAKING)


POETRY MAKING (SUSTAINABLE VERSES): Sustainability is the key to a better future.

ECOLOGIQUE- This event was organised by  ASN Senior Secondary School in collaboration with  AFS, with the aim to create a more sustainable world, to engage with sustainability related issues and for the purpose of contributing to sustainable development. The students were supposed to write poetry (verses) on sustainable development. The students of RKKGPS who took part in Poetry were – Jasmitha Pitti, Aarohi Bhattacherjee, Adwitiya Saxena and Piya Salecha. The submission date was 28th July. The creativity of RKKians was praiseworthy. They  learnt from this experience that sustainability improves the quality of our lives, protects our ecosystem and preserves natural resources for future generations.


MIME ACT:  In this event, each team was supposed to make one Sustainable Development Goal, perform a mime-act of 3-4 minutes on it, make a video and share the same on the given link. The last date of submission was 28th July. The mode of submission was YouTube link. The idea was again to promote sustainability. The participants of this event were – Reet Mehta, Amayra Lavania and Priyal Jain. The students again delivered their best with an exemplary performance. This act was a group activity and the theme was UNSDGs. The video of the mime act was made keeping in mind the 11th Sustainable Development Goal in mind which was ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities’. The students tried to cover all the small steps which can make a tremendous difference by  planting more trees, maintaining clean spaces, saying YES to paper bags and glass bottles, being vigilant ,  saving water, responsible consumption of electricity and keeping nature clean. The key learning of the students was to take their duty responsibly and to work towards conserving our environment.

POSTER MAKING/CREATION: In this event, students were supposed to make posters showing, ‘splash of sustainability’. The creative work of the solo event was submitted on 28th July. Again the mode of submission was online. The idea was to promote sustainable development through art. The participants of the event were – Adwitiya Saxena, Aarohi Bhattacherjee, Aaditri Bhattacherjee, Kriti Rathi and Ananya Agarwal. The students made very beautiful illustrations for posters. The key learning of the students was to take care of the environment.
