Under the aegis of AFS, the journey of a truly unique and rewarding experience of Student Exchange Program with Choithram School, Indore commenced from 25th January and culminated on 2nd February 2018. This experience gained by the 9th grade students of RKK led to their confidence and self-esteem. It also enhanced their decision making and independent thinking skills which further broadened their understanding and acceptance of different culture and perspective.
School visit, City Tour of Indore which included visit to Rajwada, Kaanch Ka Mandir, Holkar Ki Chatri, Saraffa Mela, Madhya Pradesh fair, Principal’s Dinner, Treasure Island Mall, enjoying Sports like Shooting, Squash, Volleyball and Wall Climbing, visit to Mandu and Maheshwar an knowing about their famous tombs and palaces, visit to Sanchi and seeing amazing Stupas of Lord Buddha, stay at Aarambagh Palace, Trip to Ujjain and visiting Mahakaleshwar and Kalbhairav Temple attending Aarti at Ram Ghaat of Shipra river, visit to Bhopal where students saw India’s largest Taj-ul Masjid, added to their happy memories.
It was a gateway to personal development which RKK provided its students with an opportunity to have an exchange program. This exposure not only enhanced the learning experience but also boarded the horizon and mind sent of students. Living in such close proximity with a set of students and being on the receiving end of their warmth and hospitality helped the students forge life long bonds with the host students.
