CAREER AND UNIVERSITY FAIR AT RKKGPS

As a part of the birth centenary celebrations of our revered founder, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Sahiba, the Green Lawns of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School came alive with aspiration and opportunity as the school organized a grand Centenary Career and University Fair for students and parents of Classes IX to XII.

The prestigious event was inaugurated by the Principal, Mrs. Neera Singh, who highlighted the importance of early career awareness and informed decision-making in today’s rapidly evolving academic landscape. Open exclusively to the senior school community, the fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and parents in large numbers.

More than 40 eminent universities and institutions from India and across the globe participated in the fair, offering students a rare opportunity to directly interact with university representatives and gain first-hand information about courses, admission processes, scholarships, campus life, and future career pathways.

Leading Indian universities and institutions such as FLAME University, Ashoka University, O.P. Jindal Global University, Amity University, UPES, Alliance University, Masters’ Union, Karnavati University, Parul University, VIT, BRDS, CII Institute of Hospitality, D.Y. Patil International University, MIT, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, SP Jain, Universal AI University, Atlas SkillTech University, Azim Premji University, FDDI, and Whistling Woods International, among others, were part of the event.

The international dimension of the fair was equally impressive, with participation from distinguished global institutions including the University of Tokyo, University of San Diego, University of Hong Kong, Domus Academy (Italy), University of Connecticut, Centennial College (Canada), Campus France, Yes Education, Germany and several others.

The fair proved immensely beneficial as students had their curiosities addressed and gained clarity on academic streams, career options, university expectations, and the preparation required right from Class IX to secure admission to institutions of their choice. Parents too appreciated the insightful interactions that helped them better understand the evolving higher education landscape.

The event was organised in collaboration with Mapp My University, led by Ms. Amrita Dudia, an esteemed alumna from the Class of 2002, whose initiative added immense value to the programme and reflected the strong bond between the institution and its alumni.

The successful coordination of the event was undertaken by Mrs. Seema Baxi, Dean Academics; Dr. Kamlesh Kumar, HOD Social Science; and Mr. Yatheesha Kasargod, PGT Graphics along with the student council and student volunteers, whose meticulous planning ensured the smooth execution of this landmark event.

The Career and University Fair stood as a fitting tribute to the visionary legacy of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Sahiba, reaffirming RKKGPS’s commitment to empowering its students with knowledge, guidance and global opportunities for a brighter future.
