The Farewell for the Class of 2022 was a deeply awaited and emotional event for the students and teachers alike. After restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was the first farewell celebrated in person. The students were extremely eager and excited to experience the joy of an onsite farewell, making the occasion even more special and memorable for everyone present.
Keeping in mind the safety precautions that were still necessary at the time, the entire event was hosted and managed by the Student Council of Class XI. Their enthusiasm and careful planning ensured that the evening was both enjoyable and well-organized. The theme for the farewell was “Spill the Chai,” which beautifully captured the spirit of fun, conversations and nostalgia that the evening was meant to celebrate.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the evening was the ramp walk. The students of the outgoing batch walked the runway with confidence and style, while their friends cheered and hooted enthusiastically, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and encouragement. It was truly a moment of celebration and camaraderie.
A total of 22 students were honoured with special titles, recognising their unique personalities. Since the Founder's Day celebration had been conducted in an online format earlier, special awards were also presented to deserving students during the farewell ceremony, making the recognition even more meaningful.
The evening also included heartfelt speeches by students of the outgoing class, who shared their memories, gratitude, and emotions as they prepared to bid farewell to their school life.
The celebrations concluded on a joyful note with a lively DJ session, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The evening ended with a sumptuous dinner, allowing students and teachers to spend a few more cherished moments together before the Class of 2022 embarked on their new journeys beyond school.
