The students of Class XI organized a heartfelt and memorable farewell for the outgoing Class XII students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School. The event was organised by the Class XI students, divided into teams of compering, dances, qawwali and the organizing committee. It was a perfect blend of celebration, nostalgia, and gratitude, leaving behind cherished memories for all. The lawns were decorated with lights and selfie points. The event started with Class XII walking in looking exceptionally beautiful, draped in gorgeous Sarees.
The evening began with a lively musical medley. The cultural programme had a graceful dance by the day scholars and an equally captivating vibrant dance performances by the boarders, full of energy and rhythm. Both performances set the tone for the joyous occasion. Each section of Class XII adorned the stage with a ramp walk, where every student was welcomed with wonderful adjectives rhyming with their names, adding a personal and poetic touch. This was followed by a walk of honour for the class teachers, as each of the five sections proudly accompanied their mentors on stage.
A video montage SCHOOL DAYS took everyone down memory lane, showcasing classroom moments, annual functions, activities, and school outings. Another video YAARON highlighted the bond of friendship and playful naughtiness, evoking laughter and emotion. The evening also witnessed 22 honour titles being conferred upon deserving students, recognizing their unique contributions and roles during their school years. Three students shared reflections on their journey, ECHOES, expressing gratitude, joy, and bittersweet emotions as they looked back on their time at school. The speech of Principal Ma’am, Mrs Neera Singh, was the most endearing and touching segment wherein she addressed the outgoing batch of 2025-26 for the last time and it culminated while the video ‘SANDS OF TIME’ was played.
The floor was then opened for dance, where students celebrated together one last time. A sumptuous dinner followed, strengthening bonds over shared meals. Each student received a farewell hamper containing class photographs, school crest, sweatshirts and other thoughtful goodies. The evening concluded with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt goodbyes. The Class XII students lingered, reluctant to leave the portals they had thronged for years, carrying with them memories that will last a lifetime.
