The insights of the report are as follows :

The Inaugural Ceremony featured a captivating Bharatanatyam performance on Mirabai and inspiring speeches by Ms. Sangeeta Kain, the Principal of Welham Boys’ School, Mr. Rashid Sharfuddin, and Dr. Sanjeev Chopra. Their messages about selflessness, empathy, and leadership praxis laid the foundation for the Conclave. The evening concluded with an enjoyable ice-breaking by Mr. Philip Burette and a delicious dinner.

A session by Mr. Vinay Pandey, who spoke about the changing face of leadership in today’s digital age. Followed by Dr. Rithika Unnyal, clinical psychologist at Welham Girls, who had an engaging talk on emotional intelligence and the brain’s role in leadership. Workshops by Mr. Philip Burette and Ms. Sangeeta Kain encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and fun learning. A virtual session by Mr. Jayant Krishnan focused on embracing diversity, followed by a lively band performance that ended the day on a high note.

Some takeaways :
· Pick your battles, don't pay attention to minor issues.
· Leadership is about finding the gold in someone and then polishing it.
· Leadership is not about leading people, but about leading with them.
· A good leader must foster resilience.
· Leadership is power through people rather than power over people.
· You cannot direct the winds, but you can adjust the sails.
· The weak can never forgive, as forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
· Life is 10% what you face and 90% how you react to it.
· You can't force someone to do what you want — instead, master the art of persuasion and learn to convince them.

“You don’t have to lead with loud speeches—just show up every day, lead by example, and do the work"
