A comprehensive IT workshop was conducted on
5th July 2025, aimed at strengthening the digital capabilities of all teachers at
Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School. The workshop was conducted in two well-planned slots, each lasting
two and a half hours, to ensure effective participation from all teaching staff.
The workshop was led by Mr. Jasvinder Pal Singh, Dean I.T., and focused on enhancing digital awareness and promoting tech-integrated teaching practices. The agenda for the workshop covered the following key areas:
1.
Computer Fundamentals – A refresher on essential computer operations and system handling.
2.
Artificial Intelligence – An introduction to AI in education and how it can support teaching methodologies.
3.
RKK’s Digital Content Library – Presentation of the school’s new initiative for teachers to create, upload, and use digital content in classrooms through Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs).
4.
Microsoft Excel – Hands-on training on basic and basic Excel features useful for data management.
5.
Cyber Safety – Awareness session on cyber threats, data privacy, and digital safety practices for teachers and students.
All teachers participated with great enthusiasm and interest, making the workshop highly interactive and productive. Teachers also shared their insights and appreciated the usefulness of the sessions, especially the practical demonstrations.
This workshop successfully met its objectives and was a step forward in making our staff more tech-savvy and digitally empowered.
