CLASS IV OUTING

On 17 February 2025, an educational field trip for class IV to the historic Mehrangarh Fort was organised. This fort, is one of the largest fort in India and its magnificent architecture is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan.

The four sections of Class IV were put into two groups and each group was accompanied by a guide who very ably unfolded the epic history of the fort.

The first stop during the visit was the museum, which houses an impressive collection of artifacts, including weapons, artillery, and palanquins. Students were fascinated by the display of swords, shields, and guns, which gave them a glimpse into the military history of the region. The museum had an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, textiles, palanquins and the elephant Howdahs.

Students spent a considerable amount of time exploring the history and cultural heritage of the 15th century era.  After visiting the museum, they proceeded to the Chamunda Mata temple, which is located within the fort complex.

The visit to Mehrangarh Fort was an enriching and educational experience for students. It also provided them with an opportunity to develop their observational and critical thinking skills.
