The Competition was conducted by the IT department of RKKGPS on 31st January 2025 in the ICT Lab. The competition brought together a diverse array of talented students from Classes VI, VII and VIII, each showcasing their creativity and ingenious skills on the screen. This competition was coordinated by Mrs. Sujitha Sankarappan and Mr. Udhav Kumar Dubey.
Event Overview: The logo making competition consisted of 4 participants from each house and in total 16 students participated in this competition. The competition was divided into two categories - the first included redesigning a given logo and the second involved creating a logo as per the topic given. The first category saw one student each from class VI and VII representing their house. Whereas the second category including two students each from class VIII. The software used for this competition was ”Adobe Photoshop”. The competition aimed to encourage creativity and artistic skills among students, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent.
Judging Process: A panel of two expert judges - Mr.Yatheesha K. and Mr. Jasvinder Pal Singh evaluated each submission based on criteria such as originality, creativity, relevance to the topic and overall visual impact. The judges offered insightful feedback, emphasizing both strengths and areas for enhancement, thus promoting growth and development in participants.
Highlights and Achievements: The group from class VIII was given the topic of Designing a logo for their house two days prior to the competition. The participants researched on the theme and also took guidance from their respective housemistresses. On the day of the competition, the participants were given two hours to complete their logo using Adobe Photoshop. On the other hand, the group consisting of Class VI and VII students were given two logos on the spot which they had to replicate in two hours.
Winners: The winners in the
first category (Redesigning the Logo) were the team from
Sri Shakti house - Hinal Sankhla of class VII - A and Aadrika Kothari of class VI - D. The runners up in this category was the team from
Sri Bhawani house - Kashvi Bhandari of class VII - D and Ziana Sharma of class VI - D.
The winners in the
second category (Creating a Logo) were the team from
Sri Ambika house - Kyara Rathi of class VIII - C and Agrima Bais of Class VIII - D. The runners up in this category was the team from
Sri Bhawani house – Chandra Kanta Solanki of class VIII - B and Yagnya Tak of class VIII - D.
