BOYS FAREWELL- 2024

RKK bid an emotional farewell to the outgoing boys of Grade V on 23rd December, 2024. The event was attended by the boys’ parents, the Deans, and students of grades III and IV, creating a heartwarming atmosphere filled with pride and nostalgia.

The program began with all the girl prefects taking charge as emcees, guiding the event with poise and enthusiasm. The boys together gave the first performance of the day, with an orchestra rendition of the song that is the hallmark of true friendship, ‘Ye dosti hum nahi todenge!’ The events that followed included energetic dance performances, a melodious choir performance, and an emotional poem read out by Reeva Veerwani of grade V A.

The highlight of the event was when all fifteen boys took to the stage one by one, to share their memories and experiences. They spoke fondly about their time in the school, the guidance of their teachers, and the camaraderie they shared with friends. Their heartfelt words left the audience deeply moved.

The four class teachers read out citations for each boy, celebrating their unique qualities and achievements. Each boy was presented with the prestigious school crest by the Deans, symbolising the values and lessons they will carry forward.

The boys were then invited for a final dance on their favourite song, “Cotton-Eyed Joe," a lively moment that had everyone clapping along. The farewell concluded with a touching presentation featuring photos and videos of many cherished moments that boys shared with everyone from the past year, evoking smiles, laughter, and some raw emotions.

The event was a perfect blend of joy and sentiment, leaving an indelible mark on everyone present. The school wished the boys success and happiness as they embark on their new journey, reminding them they will always remain a cherished part of the school family
