Inter-School Exchange Program held with Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School, Dehradun from 9th to 18th August 2024 was a remarkable event that aimed to foster collaboration, cultural exchange, and holistic learning among students. Madalsa Rathore , Kanchan Kanwar, Reeti Rathi, Pari Heda, Priyal Rathi, Priyanshi Singhvi, Anshika Agrawal, Rudrakshi Solanki, Trisha Talesara, Nivedita Vashistha, Purvi Jain, Tanshika, Riman Balia and Mahima with their Teacher Escort Ms Namrata Mehta to experience the educational practices, traditions, and facilities of one of Dehradun’s most prestigious institutions.
The main objective of this program was to promote cross-cultural understanding and cooperation among students, to provide an immersive experience of academic and extracurricular activities in a different school environment, to enhance communication, teamwork and leadership skills, to nurture the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect. The participating schools were warmly welcomed by the host school. A formal reception was held at the Vantage Residential Hall, where the Principal delivered a heartfelt address, emphasizing the importance of such exchanges in broadening the horizons of young minds. A special cultural evening was organized in the grand hall of the school featuring performances by students. Traditional dances, musical performances, and skits showcased the diverse talents and cultural heritage of the students. The participants were given guided tour of the school including the library, art studio, and science labs. Visit to Ponta Sahib Gurudwara, Science Museum and attend Ganga Aarti were highlights of this program. A day trip to nearby attractions in Dehradun, Mussoori and Rishikesh allowed students to enjoy the scenic beauty and historical richness of the region. Students worked together on various group projects during the exchange in artistic endeavors. This collaboration fostered a deep sense of unity and collective problem-solving. The Inter-School Exchange Program was a resounding success, providing students with an unforgettable experience of academic learning, cultural immersion, and personal growth. The combination of modern educational practices and cultural involvement made this program particularly memorable.
