EDUCATING THE GIRL CHILD : On 27th April (Thursday) 2023, the students of Hamara Prayaas Club took the initiative of educating children of the support staff in our school. The RKK girls first made them comfortable, introduced themselves and took the introduction of these little children. After having a fun-filled interaction with them, RKK's girls started teaching them the basics – A, B, C in English & the tables in Maths. The children were very much happy on being the receiving end of education. They were already very much familiar with a few concepts and were also very interactive throughout. After teaching them for a while, our collection of few old school books & old clothes were distributed to the children by the participants of our Hamara Prayaas Club. Followed by which, they also had breakfast in school. The happy & satisfied children also received chocolates from respected Principal Ma’am – Mrs. Neera Singh. On being asked, the little children said that they had a great time here and would love to come to the school again.

HAMARA PRAYAAS – VISIT TO WOMEN’S CENTRAL JAIL, JODHPUR : On 27th April (Thursday) 2023, the students of ‘Hamara Prayaas Club’ along with their activity teacher – Miss Amba Singh Jhabua Ma’am went to Women’s Central Jail, Jodhpur for the dispensing of Sanitary Napkins to the inmates over there. Our visit was very well-planned and well-executed. We started with two of our students first giving a brief introduction about the initiative, who initiated it and the significance of the initiative. This was done to provide awareness about the initiative. Followed by which, a ‘Nukkad Natak’ was performed by our girls throwing more light on the stigma attached to menstrual hygiene. The skit was received by a lot of cheer among the crowd. After which, the distribution of the Sanitary Napkins to the women jail inmates was done by our students. The Community Service was also done under the aegis of AFS India, keeping in mind the ‘Global Youth Service Day’ (GYSD). In the Women’s Central Jail, we were accompanied by three escort teachers – Asha Kachhawaha, Deepmala Bhandari & Meenakshi Jain. The whole session was very well received by everyone over there. They very much appreciated the efforts put in by the students and considered the service as something very inspirational and motivational.
