A Virtual Symposium on "Green Labels" was organised by
First Steps School (Pakistan) on 22nd January 2023. To represent RKK a group of 3 students :
Avantika Mishra, Jaya Sankhla and Eva Mehta participated along with Teacher Incharge Subhita Jakhar. There were 10 schools participating from all over the world.This symposium was scheduled for 90 minutes started with a session with the Keynote Speaker, Mr Shahzeb Babree, the Senior Product and Business Intelligence Manager of Pak Elektron Limited (PEL). He talked about reasons of ad making and eco labels and how the consumers want to buy from a company which supports environment or a social cause. This was followed by the presentation of flyers/posters made by all the schools. There were three topics, which were as follows: eco-friendly phone case, eco - friendly sneakers and Electric cars.
One topic was allotted to each school on which they made flyers and presentation. The topic allotted to RKKGPS was Electric Cars on which we made beautiful flyer and presentation mainly focusing on a new launch by Mahindra which is Mahindra XUV 400.
This was succeeded by a very fun filled Barraza Session which commenced with general introduction of the participants followed by questions on climate change, environment and eco-friendly products. The creativity of students in this event was very much appreciated by all.
