WORLD SOIL DAY

On 5th December 2022 an awareness session was held for the students of grade 1 to 5 at RKK. The session was taken by Mrs Sharndeep Kumari, who explained the importance of the soil and the microorganisms living in it. A discussion on the factors leading to soil degradation, about the importance of organic content of soil and the major causes of degradation of its quality were explained. To further spread awareness amongst masses special stickers mentioning “Save Soil” were distributed to the students. They were asked to talk to their parents about Soil and the need to protect it as well as to support the “Save Soil” awareness program. They were also requested to paste the “Save Soil” stickers on the car and bike (any vehicle available) at home. Students pledged to support in this campaign.
