NAVRATRI CELEBRATION

Pre Primary:

The children of the Pre-Primary celebrated Navratri and Dussehra on the 16th of October 2021.

The enthusiastic little ones dressed in vibrant festive attire. The sweethearts of Nursery made bright 'vandanvaars' with a creative paper folding technique that revealed beautiful patterns.

The Kindergarten munchkins crafted different kinds of dazzling Ravan puppets and created a colourful Navratri garba scene using pencil shavings.

Preppies were involved in making beautiful paper dancing dolls and decorative Ravan figurines.

The Pre primary teachers narrated the story of Dussehra in a rhythmic style with finger puppets and props. The significance of Dussehra was explained in a simple way with action songs like "Ravan tha ek rakshas."

The students recited shlokas and danced dynamically to peppy songs with dandia sticks.

It was an action packed celebration and each child left with a beaming smile on their face.

Primary:

Navratri is a festival during which we worship Goddess Durga in nine different forms. The spirit of Navratri inculcates unity and togetherness in each other. The students of Classes I-V celebrated Navratri in their traditional finery on Oct 1st to commemorate and invoke the blessings of Goddess Durga in various forms. They danced on the beats and tune of ‘Dandiya’ very devotedly. All the students attired in traditional dress added to the festive mood. The students of class II D told about the importance of nine forms of Goddess Durga and how Navratri celebration symbolizes victory over evil. Garba dance performances created an ambience full of vigour, zest and a spiritual aura.
