Shalini Singh, Lauren, Amishi Shukla of Class XII, Sheetal Johari, Aadyaa Vivek, Divya Vishnoi and Kshirja Madan of Class XI and Mehayee Kavia of Class X left the portals of RKK on 20th August to participate in the FESTILITT Event organized by the acclaimed R
ashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun Cantt Uttarakhand from 21st to 24th September 2022. The participants on their journey of this educational process reached their destination on 21st September to leave an impact.
The competition consisted of three events in which 19 schools participated
? English Debate
? Quiz
? Hindi debate
English debaters were given time of an hour to prepare their debates. With conviction, they presented their authentic and original ideas on the following topics:-
1. This house believes that celebrities should be politically correct in public
2. This house advocate banning culture in Bollywood and gave their best potential in the preliminary phase.
English and Hindi Debaters and Quizzers performed very well and left an indelible mark on the audience and the judges with spontaneity, quick-wittedness and agility of mind. Similarly, the Hindi debaters with their extraordinary performance qualified for the Semi-Final round and did exceptionally well within a limited time of 1.5 hrs to prepare.
They presented their views on the following topics:-
1. Media Apne Kartvyo Ka Nirwahan Karne Mei Vifal Hai
2. Badati Kimato Ke liye Upbhogta Jimedar Hai
3. Sanwad or Shanti se hi Aatakwad ka Khatma Sambhav Hai
4. Hathiyaro Ki Andhdundh Dod Manav Sabhyata Ke Aant Ka Karan Banega.
Overall it was a wonderful experience. The host school deserves high appreciation for their discipline and flawless management of the events. With diverse experiences, the team returned happily to school.
