RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATION

Primary
Relationships are the essence of any festivity and it holds true for any Indian festival. Rakshabandhan is a celebration of one such relation- that of a brother and a sister. True to its belief, the occasion involves a pledge of a life-time practice of moral, cultural and spiritual values. Sisters tie rakhis on their brother’s wrists on this particular day, thus binding their families in an emotional bond of love.

The students of classes 1 to 5 celebrated this auspicious festival with alacrity on 12th August 2022. The children spoke about the importance of this festival and presented a skit depicting its form and the values being shared since old times.

Also the students showcased their love for their brothers and sisters by dancing on some foot tapping numbers. The melodious choir too displayed the selfless emotion of this relation by singing a beautiful rendition.

They had a lot of fun and pledged to always love and cherish this sacred bond of love and togetherness.

Pre-Primary
A bond between a sister and a brother is eternal, echoing this spirit of love and happiness, a Special Assembly for Rakshabandhan festival was held on 12th August 2022.

The tiny tots of Pre-Primary participated wholeheartedly in the celebration and danced beautifully on songs that encapsulated the essence of the beautiful festival of Rakhi.

In addition to the celebration, the story of Rakshabandhan was shared with the students and they also made Rakhis.

It was a sight to behold as the little ones came vibrantly dressed for their first Special Assembly of 2022.

This is just a beginning to a jamboree of happiness and joy.
