EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2022

“Look deep into nature and then you’ll understand everything better.”

For the past many years, Earth Day continues to grow as a worldwide phenomenon focusing on promoting clean living and a healthy, sustainable habitat for people and wildlife. It serves as a conscious reminder of how fragile our planet is and how important it is to protect it. In Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, our students are inspired from a very young age to take up responsibility of the environment. They are sensitized to some of our most pressing environmental and social problems, including climate change, biodiversity loss and dwindling natural resources.

Keeping this in mind, Special presentations were put up to celebrate our planet Mother Earth. Our dear Principal Mrs Neera Singh graced the occasion with her presence.

After the testing times of Covid, the children of the primary wing had a wonderful time being on stage dressed in colourful costumes, singing and dancing to foot- tapping music. The children were happy to express their joy and showcased their dancing skills. The tiny tots of Classes 1 and 2 spoke about how they can contribute to making our planet clean and green by Reducing, Recycling and Reusing. They recited poems on our planet Earth and joyfully danced to the music of songs like ‘Mother Earth, Mother Earth’ and ‘Tik Tik Plastic.’

The little ones of Classes 3, 4 and 5 had a lot of fun dancing and singing to              songs like ‘We Are The World’ and promised to keep our planet safe by planting many trees and saying no to plastic.

The celebration helped students assimilate simply yet clearly that we should keep our environment clean, plant more trees and make active progress to RESTORE OUR EARTH. The celebration instigated the youngsters to save, love and respect Mother Nature with their heart and soul.

‘Love the Earth as you would love yourself’.
