Round Square Postcard call on the topic
‘Music & Culture’ was organised by
Godspell College, Argentina on
6th July 2022. Nehal Gehlot, Udita Singh, Vidhi Porwal, Avantika Mishra, Deeksha Garg, Shobha and Teacher Incharge Mrs Mukta Singh from RKK availed the opportunity in their lives by knowing about the music & culture across the globe. Many elite national & international member schools participated in this event which started with the introduction of the host school. Then there was a presentation shown by the participating schools highlighting their Country’s Culture & Music followed by the host school's discussion on how music is imparted in their country and how music is an inseparable part of their culture. The host school then talked about various musical instruments & displayed a presentation on iconic music artists of Argentina. The participants learned the difference between modern tango & classic tango, importance of music of different genres & languages. Then, the host school shared a playlist link of Spotify where each participant could share their folk music. After that the participants were divided into breakout rooms where they discussed about the important and iconic artists of their country. All the participants were delighted to learn about the music & culture of many countries & got to know the history and importance of culture and music. After an enlightening session of 60 minutes, the postcard call was over & the participants were enriched by sharing their own music and culture.
