: Poetry is the art of substantiating shadows and of lending existence to nothing. It is the music of thoughts conveyed to us in the music of language. To write means more than putting pretty words on a page. The act of writing is to share a part of your soul with the world. KC Public School, Jammu gave a chance to students of Round Square Member Schools all over the country to paint their thoughts by offering them an opportunity to showcase their poetic skills by organising a Collaborative Project – Poetry on
25th March 2022. The event was organised to enhance the writing skills of students and enable them to present a vivid, effective and persuasive communication in an artistic form.
The host school assigned the participants six different topics - Nature, Celebration, Adventure, any tenet of Discovery Framework, Growing Up and Online Classes to compose a poem. The students were also supposed to write a short note in about fifty words on the interpretation of the poem. A team of three students from Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ School, comprising
Adwitiya Saxena, Riya Sharma and Piya Salecha participated in the event. The competition provided yet another wonderful opportunity to the students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ School to represent their school on a global platform, thereby expanding their knowledge, helping them to explore new skills and seek opportunities to excel beyond academics.
