An English reading competition was organized virtually for the students of Grade 3 on 23rd February 2022.
The importance of reading cannot be underestimated, as reading stretches the child’s mind and introduces him/her from this part of the world.
The students were asked to find tales and read them out in the class. Choosing and preparing a short story to read, motivated the kids to actively explore literature from this part of the world. Furthermore, the competition encouraged students to practice pronunciation and listen to others. The students read out their stories with clear articulation, correct accentuation and voice modulation. The judges and teachers were taken aback by the standard achieved and expressed their appreciation and encouragement. The children were equally delighted.
