READ- A- THON - READING COMPETITION

An English reading competition- ‘READ-A-THON’ was organized virtually for the students of Class 2 on 17th December, 2021. The objective of the competition was to inculcate reading habit among students and facilitate exposure.

The students were asked to choose a ‘Fairytale’ with the help of their parents. They used their imagination to convey the message of the story in their creative way. They read out their stories with clear articulation, correct accentuation and voice modulation. The judges were taken aback by the standard achieved and expressed their appreciation and encouragement. The children were equally delighted.
