THE DALY COLLEGE, INDORE (THE IPSC DANCE FESTIVAL 2021)


Being a school known for its active participation in all the extracurricular-activities, Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur took part in the Dance IPSC Festival hosted by The Daly College, Indore from 22nd to 24th October 2021.

RKK participated in three events – ‘Duo – Semi Classical Live’, which took place on 22nd October 2021. The second event was ‘Solo Western Live’, which took place on 23rd October and the third event ‘Solo Classical' which took place on 24th October. The teacher incharges were Mrs Piyushree Shukla, Mrs Daksha Singh, Mr Vincent Trevor and Ms. Amba Singh Jhabua. Graceful dancers - Ashmi Shrimali,  Veenushree Pungalia, Vartika Mewara, Riyanshi Kothari represented RKK.

Moving forward, auditions were taken for the participants   for selection followed by the practices that  went in full swing for more than a month from 15th September – 21st October. Proceeding further, by 12th October 2021, both audio and video files were sent to the Host school along with the introductory video and school logo. The recording of all the three events was successfully completed on 16th October, 2021. The school code given to RKK by the host school was ‘Soochi’.

On 22nd October, the fest started with an Opening Ceremony  attended by all the teacher incharges and participating students. The events were executed brilliantly with the support of teacher incharges along with the humongous support of technical team including IT Dean Mr Jaswinder Pal Singh, Mr Vimal Verma, Mr Yatheesh Kasaragod and Mr Manoj Kumar Sanda.

All the four students gave exhilarating performances. The Closing Ceremony acknowledged the outstanding performances, hence, the three-day event ended here. The RKK team participated with great zest and enthusiasm and gave their best. The event came across as a learning experience for all the teachers as well as students. Participating in an event and coming up with such amazing performances in these testing times is not easy but the teams gave their best. It was indeed a great team effort and an event to remember forever.
