MOUNT LITERA ZEE SCHOOL, AMRITSAR (ACROPOLIS SUMMIT 2021)


Mount Litera Zee School, Amritsar hosted the second edition of 'Acropolis Summit 2021' dedicated to 160th birth commemoration of Rabindranath Tagore, 130th birth commemoration of Babasaheb Ambedkar, 100th anniversary of Tulsa Rase massacre, 100th anniversary of Chauri Chaura incident and 100th anniversary of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

The participants engaged themselves in various competitions and tried their level best in The Junior Cohort held on 8th & 9th October 2021. It was a very good learning exposure.

Proud Achievers and Achievements were :

  • Adwitiya Saxena- Best Extempore Debate Speaker
  • Reet Mehta- Best Performer for Living Newspaper
  • Priyal Jain- Best Performer for Living Newspaper
  • Piya Salecha- Critics’ Choice for Prose Writing
  • Overall 3rd Position for Living Newspaper by Priyal Jain, Reet Mehta, Prathna Sancheti and Achal Roop Kaur.

The Senior Cohort on 16th & 17th October 2021

Six girls from RKK participated in The Senior Cohort of The Acropolis Summit that comprised  Multi Format Debates, General Quiz and Creative Writing.

It was an enriching and informative experience to learn, debate and discuss on various global issues. Around 25 schools participated from all over the country.

The debaters qualified the Preliminary Round in which only four schools were selected for Semi Finals. However, they couldn't qualify for the finals but definitely left a thundering mark on the judges and the audience in the Semi-Finals.

 Achievers were :
  • Discursive Writing (Poetry) - First Position bagged by Hemangini Bhati
  • General Quiz - Best Answer of the Day was won by Lauren.
  • Debate - Semi Finals - The Best Speaker - Manasvi Salecha
