VIRTUAL DOMESTIC CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM


We, the representatives of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, are very grateful for being provided with the opportunity of interacting with the representatives of Pathways World School, Aravali under the aegis of AFS, India. Not only did we get to know the culture of Haryana, but also revised ours by sharing them with the representatives of Pathways World School, Aravali. Following students participated in this program that lasted for 3 days :

On the 5th of September, which was the first day of the conference, there was an ice - breaking session for half an hour. We interacted and played a fun game and  also exchanged school tours.

On the 7th of September, we told them about our culture. We also showed a few presentations on the history, festivities and traditions of Rajasthan. Some engrossing and engaging games were played based on imagination and COVID. Thereafter, we presented a video on ‘Girl Power’. We learnt the amazing skills, girls are equipped with all across India. Following that, a video was shown on how to make Wall Hanging representing Rajasthani culture and handicraft skills, and a video in which  workers were interviewed to better know the adversities they had to face and how they managed and overcame them.
 
On 8th of September, Pathways School presented and told us all about Haryana’s culture, traditions, festivities and important monuments. We interacted and got to know more about each other. Following that some videos of their school were witnessed. An intriguing game of Kahoot was played in which everyone participated enthusiastically. Lastly, we spoke about similarities between both the cultures and exchanged our feedback for the program.
