PANEL DISCUSSION ON ‘THEY TOO HAVE THE RIGHT TO SURVIVE ‘

Panel Discussion on "They too have the Right to Survive" was organized by AFS, India on 21st August 2021. Following animal lovers enthusiastically participated in the session addressed by PETA members:- Kirti Kanwar Bhati (XII), Kumkum Chouhan (XI), Hridal Sarda (XII), Tejasvini Rathore (XII), Ridhima Khajanchi (XII), Ranjana Parihar (XI), Anandita Singh Ranawat (X) with Ms Aashna Jain (Mentor).

This panel discussion was an eye opener. Humans view themselves as the only creatures with emotions, morality, and culture. But this is not true. The more we learn about the other species, the more similarities we find. Listening to some renowned Keynote Speakers, their success stories, rescue stories and how long way they have come inspired everyone in one way or the another.

The panel discussion covered the topics such as:

What is better sanctuary or zoo?

Who is an animal lover?

Sanitisation of animals

Is sacrificing of animals for sacred rituals is okay or not?

How to prove an animal abuse case without any evidence? Will there be an investigation on a case without evidence?

This discussion was definitely informative, interactive and enlightening.
