MAYO COLLEGE GIRLS' SCHOOL - SILVER JUBILEE COMMEMORATIVE YOUNG THINKERS' CONCLAVE, 2021


“Life is a continuous battle. It doesn’t matter how many battles we have won or lost, what matters is that we fought, learned and survive".

On August 26th 2021, a team of three students, comprising Kanak Joshi, Lauren and Bhavi Kumbhat of Class XI, under the guidance of Ma'am Reena Mishra participated in the Virtual Silver Jubilee Commemorative Young Thinkers’ Hindi Debate Competition organized by Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer. 44 schools from 17 states participated in this event.

The topics for the first round were given on 26 August at 9:30 am.

The topic, assigned to the participants was, ‘Prachin Chikistak Padati Aaj Bhi Prasangik Hai’. The judges for the Preliminary Round were, Grp Captain Sudhir Diwan, Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Dr. Harshwardhan Singh Khimta and Shri Hemank.

The Preliminary Round started virtually at 11:45am on Zoom Call meeting. Participants enlightened the audience with their perspectives on the given topic. Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School qualified for the second round.

The next round started at around 4:45pm, The teams spoke on the topic,  'Pratibha Sadhno Ki Mohtaj Nhi Hoti’. It was a cutthroat competition and all were fully passionate to win.

As winning and losing is a part and parcel of the game, RKKians were not able to qualify for the 3rd round. However, Kanak Joshi and Bhavi Kumbhat were adjudged as the Best Speaker and the Best Defendant respectively in the Preliminary Round.
