DAIS, MUMBAI & SAI SCHOOL, BHUBNESWAR (COLLABORATION) - ‘POWER OF ONE’

“Life is full of learning but what makes a difference is the way we experience it and these experiences are the foundation for a greater purpose which is wisdom.”

Active and agile scholars of RKKGPS- Sheetal Johari, Shruti Rathi, Khushboo Vyas, Zaina Zia, Anishka Anand, Ishita Gandhi, Himakshi Parihar and Manasvi Salecha partook in this event to allow their limitless thoughts to find a direction to strive. Together they experienced this journey filled with opportunities to develop new skills.  A curious mind is required to feel it and explore it.

Day 1 (Host School- SAI)

The beginning day of the event truly helped the delegates in the journey of self-construction. Each step to dare to participate was  a way for them  to sculpture themselves as the most magnificent statues. They were enlightened by Mr Venkatesh Charloo, a phenomenal and passionate environmentalist, who presented the chaotic reality of  pure nature which made the participants  realize that the foundation of a world change begins from the journey within. Therefore, acted as a catalyst to awaken the  mindfulness for the present.

Day 2 (Host School- DAIS)

The rendition of the 2nd day carried a vivid image in their  mind, a discussion coloured with enlightening ideas and pleasure. The  opinion of students were shaped and they  represented a global citizen in each one of them as preached in their alma mater. The day began with a thought huddling discourse which emancipated young participants  to be a proactive youth of today, tomorrow and forever. The aftermath of the event included their division to the breakout rooms. Students got engaged in the game like 'Never Ever Have I Ever' and did discussion on multiple thought- provoking topics which made them  realise that there is a leader in all of them , the greatest leader in the world is the one who has the will to lead oneself. The fun filled day was on the way to end but passion and curiosity was still in thirst.

Delegates hastened and made posters on various issues. This encouraged all towards their optimistic and progressive transformation by teaching them the power of interaction, team spirit and unity. The day passed with curiosity, never ending zest and unforgettable enjoyment. Children are like seeds who were provided a fertile land to prove their abilities. What has been taken from this experience, the participants  promised to pay back.
