17th March 2021, RS Zoom Postcard was organized by Renaissance International School Saigon to discover, ‘Life in Vietnam’. A delegation of 6 students - Riddhi Rao, Chelsy Ratnu, Subhadra Kumari, Pankhuri Sharma, Nandani Khichi and Anusha Koely of Class V with their Teacher Incharge, Manju Singh got this opportunity to be a part of this wonderful event.
On the zoom, call the host students shared a glimpse of daily life in Vietnam, exploring language, the natural environment, local Vietnamese food, local culture and also led the participants into playing a fun game! Later participants too were asked to share things about their own daily lives, their culture, food, festivals, languages and traditions. Everyone enjoyed a peek in the lives of the participants from all over the world, as this call brought together more than 100 participants from 18 schools in Australia, Germany, India, UAE, Armenia, Tanzania, Oman, South Africa and the UK.
It was a great learning experience for the Junior RKKians on this platform as they enjoyed interacting with different people. They got a chance to explore Vietnam and they also learnt a lot from their counterparts across the globe. It was indeed a memorable day for them. Everyone realized that it is rightly said, “Beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people”.
