Cocurricular - Round Square

APPLEBY COLLEGE, CANADA (RS POSTCARD)


A Round Square Postcard session was conducted by Appleby College on 2nd December 2020 on the topic “Truth and reconciliation: Is it really happening ?”. Batches of 5 students were created from schools across the globe including schools from Romania, Australia, Peru, Germany, Canada, USA, South Africa, China, and Armenia.  

On the call, the  host invited participants to join them in exploring the process of truth and reconciliation with indigenous cultures and take a close look at the extent to which this is really happening. The session focused  on individuals’ own experiences with indigenous people of Canada, but  very transferrable to indigenous issues all over the world.

Students of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School actively participated in discussions on indigenous people all around the world. The participants of this event included - Divya Laddha, Sumriddhi Sharma, Hridal Sharda, Khushboo Vyas and  Hemangini Bhati constantly supported by Ms Awanesh Sharma.
