The virus for sure has confined the students to homes but not their hearts from broadening its horizons to new cultures and new people. On
28th October, Ridhima Khajanchi, Kashish Goplani, Khushboo Vyas, Rajehwari Rahtore, Nandini Shekhawat, Nehal Gehlot and their Teacher Incharge Subhita Jakhar zoomed over the West Cost, USA for
"A Dive Into California's Culture" where the Athenian School and Chadwick School hosted a 60 minutes Round Square Postcard Call. A formal welcome was followed by a captivating and riveting presentation on the Californian Culture. This included - Hollywood, Sports, Climate, way of addressing teachers, famous actors, cuisine etc. followed by a discussion session based on the questions - “What you know about California and its schools, How is your life and schools in your region - similar or different?" and "What are the common stereotypes that exist?”. The participants enthusiastically gave the answers in their breakout rooms. The next fun round was a Quiz. It mainly comprised questions about California and general awareness. The bond and friendship created during this round will be cherished forever. This was a dazzling and profound experience for all the participants that truly took them to their gateway of global citizenship.
