LAAC or the Legal Aid and Awareness Committee is a student run body of NLU Jodhpur. It has been taking initiative that spread legal awareness keeping this in mind Lex Quest Essay Writing Competition was organized with the deadline as 15th October 2020, which aimed to motivate the school students to develop an understanding of legal regime of India. Nehal Gehlot, Jaya Sankhla, Divya Vishnoi and Nandini Shekhawat of Class IX, Bhavi Khumbat, Kanak Joshi and Shagun Varshney of Class X. Ridhima Khajanchi, Kashish Goplani and Nandini Arya of Class XI from Rajmata Krishna Kumari girls' Public School, Jodhpur actively participated in it. The eligibility of the competition was from Class IX to XII. It was divided into two categories. Category 1 was for Class IX and X. Students were asked to write an essay of 900 to 1200 words on the topic "Virtual Education: impact on students and suitability in India". Category 2 was for participants of Class XI and XII and their topic for the essay was "Impact of New Education Policy : Are any further reforms needed". It was a virtual writing competition and a brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, foster curiosity towards legal rights, duties and be responsible and aware citizens.
Result -
Jaya Sankla of Class IX was awarded the First Runner Up and was honoured with a Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 3000/-.
