The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has brought with it new challenges for families across the globe. Parenting has always been tough, but home schooling, working from home and all the financial uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 has made it even tougher. But it’s important to remind ourselves that this is a unique situation, a global health emergency that none of us have had to face before. So, to facilitate appropriate nurturing of children and proper parenting, RKK came up with possible solutions through a webinar in association with Child Phycologists of AIIMS, Jodhpur. On 9th October 2020, Parents and Teachers of students studying in Class Nursery to V from 11 am to 12 noon joined this enriching session conducted by Dr Pratibha, Dr Tushar, Dr Kusum and Dr Joshi covered the topic,
‘Parenting amidst Covid-19 Pandemic’. It dealt with - What constitutes wellbeing in the current situation? How can we as parents manage our anxieties in a positive and proactive way ? what is ‘normal’ and what to be concerned about ?
The session very well covered all positive solutions to the prevalent issues of good parenting during this testing time.
