Cocurricular - Activities during Lockdown

THE SUNBEAM SCHOOL, LAHARTARA (RS ZOOM POSTCARD CALL)

Exposure is a necessity in having a full life. Interacting and involving in different Virtual Conferences provide the participants with many wonderful lessons and new ideas. This was exactly the case in Virtual Round Square Zoom Postcard Call with the Sunbeam School, Varanasi, India on 7th October 2020. This was a wonderful experience as there was an exchange of information between the delegates. They displayed many melodious musical performances that enriched everyone’s soul... the delegates were informed about the origin of many famous classical musicians known worldwide. Students were then distributed into different breakout rooms, named after all the varied names Varanasi has ever had! It was exhilarating! In one breakout room called the Anand Kanan, the students had a playful game of throwing an imaginary fruit and introducing themselves. Then, all participants described their different musical heritages and cultures, which instilled in the young generation a sense of pride for the beautiful diverse culture of India. This was followed by a Guitar performance by Aadyaa Vivek of RKK and a mesmerizing song sung by another delegate. Finally, all were brought back to the main session where Vote of Thanks was proposed by a faculty member of the host school. Total 17 Schools across the globe participated in this postcard call. The conference ended with the joyful chanting of HAR HAR MAHADEV.
