VIRTUAL CONFERENCE WITH MEXICO



"Virtual reality is the first step in a grand adventure into the landscape of the imagination."


In this difficult time, role of the most supportive asset is being played by technology. Using this technology a Virtual Conference was held on 18thMay 2020 between students from the Institutoluis Sarmiento, Oaxaca, Mexico and Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School, Jodhpur, India. The main theme of the virtual conference was to facilitate exchange of culture and traditional practices followed in both the countries and to cross-pollinate the measures taken in respective countries as well as by students to contribute in fighting against the Global Pandemic. After a brief introduction, students had an interactive session discussing varied topics of mutual interest. Discussion ranged around different cultures and various ways in which they are using this time productively.

The Conference helped students get closer despite being miles apart and created potential opportunity to exchange and converge on various cultural nuances. It was an edifying and a gratifying experience that enabled everyone to look beyond their culture and understand the diverse civilization of the mankind in a better manner. It capacitated the participants realize the significant role played by culture in moulding day to day life and the way we view the great human civilization and it's relation with the mother earth, specifically during Covid-19. This Virtual Conference was a message to understand that cultural differences does not separate us from each other but cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all humanity.
