Report on Poetry Morning 2019
Classes: KG and Nursery
“MANMARZIYAN”
On The 14th of December, 2019 the children of classes KG and Nursery put up a presentation of poetry, dance and song under the theme “Manmarziyan”.
The program began at 11 o’clock with the tiny tots of Kindergarten welcoming our guest with the songs “JhoomJhoomhar Kali” and “SMILE” followed by two poem renditions in English and Hindi: “On top of my Noodles” and Bacchahona” respectively.
After that, with a little twist in the usual sequence of events, came the tiniest of the lot, class Nursery with an adorable ‘Welcome dance’ for our audience.
We then began with Nursery’s rhymes. The way they recited poems like ‘popping popcorn’ and ‘Kachua Raja’ with their actions and expressions won all of our hearts!
Nursery class’s series of performances ended with the cuties dancing to the song ‘Surajdhaltajaye re’ with great fervour.
The students of KG-A soon took over the stage with their poem renditions. Our little poets recited poems like” Fashion kabukhar” , “Colours” and “My Little Snowball” with wonderful articulation. Soon after, all of them danced to the peppy number “Get back up again” while showing us some of their best moves.
KG-B then made an entrance with their recitations. It was an absolute delight listening to them recite poems like “Zoo Time”, “Splish Splash” and “Main ekGudiya” with rhyme session, they rocked to Meghan Trainor’s song “I’m Better when I’m Dancing”.
Now it was KG-C’s turn to shine! Our sparkling stars recited poems like, “Cricket kabukhar” , “It’s fun to be’ and “Pretty Balloon” . They then swayed to the soulful to the soulful track of “Animal Song” by savage garden in their cute little animal headgears.
Thereafter, Classes KG-A, B and Nursery joined them for the Grand Finale. All of our superstar set the stage ablaze whirling and twirling with electric energy to the theme song “Mann Marziyan” and the popular mix “Baby Shark “, which was met with a thundering round of applause.
The parents and staff were overwhelmed with admiration witnessing the junior most classes of RKK performing so brilliantly, and were all praises for the entire show.
Acknowledging all the hard work that had been put in, they congratulated the respective class teachers as well.
Needless to say the presentation “Manmarziyan” was a massive success.
