EliotThe youthful, dynamic Class XII students of the batch 2019-20 were bid a memorable farewell by the class XI students on the chilly winter evening of 22nd December 2019 in the Amphitheatre of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School. After a formal welcome presented by Aastha Sancheti, the Vice Head Girl, the evening was carried forward by the Masters of Ceremonies, Yaana jain, Aavriti Angela Chauhan and Jyoti Rathore.
The Citation Rounds for the evening were beautifully conducted by the class teachers of class XII, Dr. Varsha Pandey, Mrs. Reshma Bhattacharjee, Mrs Niharika Banerjee and Mrs. Sunita Gupta.
The mood of the audience was further uplifted with the melodious performances of Alice and Marie, RKK’s Foreign Exchange students from Italy and France.
With musical notes floating in the air, the spectators were further mesmerized by Urvee Jodha, Anubhuti Sharma and Cheshtha Chopra who stole everyone’s heart with their soulful rendition.
Next in line, to make the evening more special, the day scholars of class XI got their groove on by dancing and rocking the stage on some of the greatest hits of the year. The merrymaking continued with the heart stopping dance performances by the boarders of Class XI.
The much awaited Title Rounds were conducted by Mrs. Nirmal Hada and Ms. Tuhina Roy Chowdhary in which the outgoing batch girls were no less than Miss World and Miss Universe. The ramp walk, the most exciting event of the whole show, was thoroughly enjoyed by the students of class XII.
An inspiring speech was given by the Principal, Mrs. Neera Singh. Students became quite emotional when their leader and inspiring mentor wished them good luck for their board exams and future. Nostalgic moments were lived by one and all through a captivating and sentimental movie, titled, ‘Sands of Time’ prepared by the Class XI students. A multitude of events right from the beginning of the session, 2019-20 in the school life of the outgoing batch were showcased in the movie.
Keeping with the spirit of ‘Out with the maudlin, in with the merry making’, students were seen embracing their last official school moments together when the DJ rocked the stage. This was followed by the Principal’s dinner in which sumptuous meals were enjoyed by everyone and finally these wonderful memories were captured by the students of Class XII in their hearts and with a heavy heart, they bid adieu.
